i just heard of the radio today, a song by jet from there first album i think, and there was a girl singing with the lead singer, it might have been acoustic, but i not sure, dose anybody know the name of the song, and the girl singing??

I think you're referring to the song Put Your Money Where Your Mouth is from their album Shine On.
It's not actually a chick that is singing, it is the lead singer. the first time i thought it was a woman as well until i saw the film clip. At the beginning he sounds like a girl but in the chorus he sounds like a guy. Is this the one?
It's a really good song.
