Hi, just met a new friend, he is muslim, he fancies me and sounds dead serious, but I am gay. He wants to take me out and I don't know how to tell him without upsetting his feelings. Also don't want to lose him as a friend - he is really lovely- so need to know how he wil react from his religion point of view. Has anyone been in this situation, or have an opinion on this?please can you help?

I don't really think it has so much to do with religion but more personal opinion. Like most religions, Buddhism, christianity, etc the scriptures will mention somewhere a reference (however boldly) that can be interpreted as homosexuality being wrong. In most liberal Islamic countries Indonesia, Turkey etc Homosexuality is Taboo rather than considered morally wrong. It will just depend on how much your friend knows about homosexuallity in being able to accept it because there isn't as much exposure as there is in the west. I hope this helps

I am muslim and living in muslim country, my answer is :
As for myself I love to see lesbian movies .
As for guys here we are normal guys like everyone in the world , some like to know you some don't and some don't feel anything about it .
As for islam and like all religions it is not allowed to be gay .
And to have more information about this thing you can see my Q&A's to know that I loved a lesbian during my life and still wish she can change to str8 to marry her but we are some how friends till now:
I didn't kill her loooooool
and no one did looooooooooooool
not even her family looooooooooooooooooooooooool
And she is muslim too
So don't believe what all the above guys answered you .

From one lesbian to another, just tell him that you only think of him as a FRIEND. Don't go out with him. Don't ever do anything to lead him on because he'll confuse that and think you really want him. Just tell him he's a nice person, but you're only interested in him as a friend. Encourage him to get out and meet women. If he's persistent, just TELL HIM you're gay. If he's so "lovely" then he won't hate you for being yourself!!

why do u want to have him as a friend. he dose not want to be your friend he wants to screw you but that chap dose not know that you are a lisbo jest let him know what you are and he will automatically loose his erection.and there will be no problem
and you can find a friend from your own club.if you want a friend may be a fag or some thing like that.......

Sorry to disappoint you but being Gay is a sexual perversion and absolutely not a healthy sexual behaviour........ Most important the death of sodomy ( this gay and lesbian Bullshit) is death.. ( wether you like it or not)
