My friend was messing with my phone today and now I have zero service. There is an "x" by the service symbol. And in the top left corner right above the time it says "Phone Off." I have absolutely no idea how this happened and how to fix it. Can someone help?!

Sounds like your "friend" stole your SD memory card and maybe even your SIM card from the phone. You need to get them back.
Otherwise, you have to take the phone back to Cingular and tell them it stopped working and you want it replaced with a brand new one.
You DID get the extended replacement warantee correct?

Just found the answer (this has happened to me a number of times). Fire up the Comm manager program: Start button, hit more twice to get to 3rd page. Comm manager is in the center. Hightlight phone icon, and then press the middle select button to activate the phone again. Should work! otherwise yo uhave to reset the device, that also works.
