At the end of daylight saving clocks need to be put back one hour: 2am becomes 1am. At the beginning clocks need to be put forward one hour: 2am becomes 3am.

Forward ... so darkness gets later i.e. 730pm instead of 630pm. But what an @rse it is setting all of those clocks around the house as well!
