there is this simple technique (it will only work if the file u convert supports avi format) and u dont even have to download anything 4 it.
right, go to my documents, click tools, then folder options.
a dialogue box appears. in the dialogue box, click view and u will see some checkboxes. now if u scroll down a little, u will see an option- hide extentions for known file types. just deselect it and save d settings.
now. rename the file u want to convert to-
the file name u want.avi and save it.
walla- conversion complete.
sometimes a notice comes reading- do u want to changa the file. it may not work due to this change- just click ok.
if the file really doesn't work, then rename it to the extention it was before.

Simple. go to www.erightsoft.com and download the file converter SUPER. You can convert you file to avi format. The advantage of this software is it can adjust the settings for the make of your phone.
