I don't think many height challenged men will agree with the designation extremely short or very short or short!
If you changed the term to height and just use tall, it might be more acceptable, i.,e.,
4'8" tall
5'0" tall
etc., otherwise you won't have any men saying that they're short and thus your statistics will be skewed.
Like someone asking for tiny condems, you won't find many people asking the druggist for tiny condums or medium condums, they'll all ask for XXX large condums.

Where's the average height for American men? Then we could tell you if we think it is average, based on the height of our men.
I'm thinking 'medium' and 'tall' categories are the ones with the most members.

Well, my husband is 6' and actually considered short. His two younger brothers are almost a foot taller. I consider my husband average, eventhough I'm 5'2. I agree with your height range. Thats the way it is!
