Is that why he so, apparently, farcically bungles, with apparent criminal incompetence, any and all issues of immigration to drive membership and support up massively?
I refer to my previous question about John Reid's department supplying a known terrorist with 9 passports and acknowledging supplying 10,000 to fraudulent applicants.
How very clever- perhaps as he believes, like BNP supporters, that the UK requires tough immigration laws to protects it's indigenous inhabitants' rights first and foremost?
Not to mention native insdustry, job protection, conservation, small business, agriculture and the environment.
And all the while I thought him an atypical Socialist buffoon.

In my opinion he is an incompetent idiot not fit to hold office.
If in the workplace you made as many mistakes as him you would be fired.
We must remember this man has not lived in the real world and has never held a proper job
Any one with a little common sense would have reported the names and addresses of the people who obtained fake passports to the police as soon as it came to light he is either very arrogant or very stupid.......... my bet is both.
I don't think that the B.N.P party would accept his membership on the grounds that he is a liar and traitor to Britain whether his mistakes were genuine or under instructions from Blair.

He does have a skinhead I suppose & I think his fascist ideas are way right of Maggie Thatcher (never thought I would ever hear myself saying that). I think he is in the wrong party. Hang on...the Nazi's were the National SOCIALIST party, so maybe not.

I don't think Reid has the competence to think as you are suggesting. He's just as useless as the rest of them but he'd like us to think he's not. Shame. Time he resigned.
