If you are speaking about the premium channels, each channel has a contract with the movie houses and it depends on the contract also including how popular the movie is at the movie theater.

They only change movies after everyone remembers the complete dialogue of their movies that show every weekend. The only channel that changes their shows is AMC and thats after they show another repeat of the 007 movies.

Usually new ones are added every month, but they don't add enough.
