BCCI is just a administration which takes decision on pressure of medias. Indians just follow western trend, why cant BCCI follow worlds best australian cricket administration.
BCCI want to allow youngsters to take over indian team, but what did youngsters did in fridays match like utthappa, dhoni, munaf.it should go with balanced team with mental strength and with thorough practice along with bst coach. What happens if we give too much money to the kids ,it ultimately spoils them in their academics. Thats what happened in the case of our players(too much ads).Last thing BCCI should follow australian cricket system.

All is fair in love and war; We love cricket & we know that cricket is war. And so, any drastic action they take to improve the situation should be fair.
Some other thoughts: First of all, I hope that BCCI, from now on, stops reacting to bad performances & public/media pressure. Because if it does, then, it might do something stupid as making itself follow Australian model. Let the Indian team face the music - that is, send almost the same team to Bangladesh in May except remove Harbajan, Anil, Sachin, and Dhoni. After the series - let the heads roll. Make team A & team B and have regular matches between the two. Send people back and forth between A & B based on performance. Then also, I hope BCCI defines a vision for India based on Indian culture etc. Have a graduated salary scale - if you remain in the team for 4 years or more - you get more money. We have to focus on accountability. Greg Chappell is not an Indian ! Why fire him - why blame someone else when you yourself (BCCI) are the biggest problem.

Do you have any idea about the kind of decisions the BCCI has in mind? If BCCI is contemplating axing the oldies and non performers, I would consider it a wise decision. Ultimately decisions have to be taken in the best interests of Indian cricket and not its present team members. And in the context of India's performance in WC 2007, some harsh decisions from the BCCI are in order.

BCCI should take the following decisions:
1. Send back Greg Chappel to Australia directly from W. Indies.
2. Instruct Dravid to resign from captaincy before returning to India.

if you want real justice, BCCI should had taken the harsh desicion before the 2 years. If performence is the critaria of the selection Sehwag and Sachin should not be in the team. They are doing nothing and became a burden on the team.

Indian people forget everything very fast and for a few days people will be talking about changes and finally nothing will happen to improve the situation and same old stories would repeat.

Let us not imagine that anything great is going to happen. Nothing will happen.

Everybody has understood that Indian people can be easily fooled.
