You might have. If the oil level reaches the crank it will foam it up and you'll lose oil flow. You need to do a compression check to evaluate the damage.

With 2 much Oil in the crankcase U cause the Oil 2 become Aerated = FOAM which in turn will harm the engine because the oil-pump won't have the pressure it should have because the pump is designed 2 pump a liquid NOT FOAM..IF U haven't blown any seals or driven it 2 far U should b OK if -like was said b 4 - no plugs were fouled out or bent any rods.Bearings like LIQUID Oil NOT Foam Oil !

Too much oil causes a high pressure built up, resulted in lost of power. Drain out the oil and refill to correct amount.

No, I don't believe that you've blown the motor. But I do think that you are choking your motor out with too rich of an oil mixture and possible have fouled out your plugs. This is an easy fix. Drain out the excess oil, replace your plugs, and possibly your air filter in case you had any blowback, and also check your PCV valve. You should be good to go then.

Check to see if there's any oil around your spark plugs if your engine has spark plug wells that the plugs are recessed into. Sounds like your spark is being partially conducted to ground around the outside insulator of one or two of your plugs where oil could have seeped into the wells.

No, it you did that the car woudl simply stop- you probably have multiple problems not just one.
Sounds like you may have fouled the carb with oil fumes or other gunk, and its choked for air. Try removing the air filter and replace it if needed.
The spark plugs may be fouled out, try changing them too

have you drain out the extra oil yet if not than you might have hydroed the piston rods which strechs themor bends them . you might be lucky but that will slow the motor down a lot its like puting a cup open side down in a bucket of water and then pull it up fast try it it slows down alot

If you added too much oil, that is NOT the problem. Too much Oil does NOT cause this.
