no
his blood will ran in to your baby.
and if that baby come up to same as he is. you will have disrepect and you wishes that you did not have him born
and you never know when the guy come and take him away or when come and stay there and take charge and use you or put pressure on you and that kid.
and if i was you will not have that baby for two reason.
that baby will always be called the prisoner son
and
the guy will harm you in future

No, I wouldn't but I'm a different person to you! You might feel the same or differently to me, so I'm not in a position to make this kind of judgement. One thing that I will say though is that the people who ranted and raved on here about the baby growing up with 'his blood running through' and therefore becoming evil, are talking utter rubbish (and the so-called medical expert on here, should know better than to repeat this)! Human behaviour is a combination of genes and environment not just one or the other! If you're asking me whether the woman should keep the baby, that's up to her! However, I will say that if I were in this position, I would view the baby as an innocent, helpless infant who didn't ask to be created in these circumstances and I would love him/her regardless (remember the baby is part of the mother as well as the father) and would want him/her regardless of the circumstances. I would also say that just because the man was a bad criminal then that doesn't mean that he is a bad father, but if he made it clear that he didn't want to know or treated me badly before going into prison, then I would have NOTHING more to do with him, except to let him know that he has a child. NO SECOND CHANCES! I would also make sure that I would try to avoid this situation again in future (by deciding not to have children until I'm absolutely sure that I'm in the right situation to do so).

Are you considering an abortion? He might have committed a theft - if you abort, you are committing murder!
Keep the baby - it won't have 'bad blood' it will develop in the way that you teach it to. Remember that it will always also be half of you! At least, please do not kill the baby - if you don't want to bring it up, then let someone else do it by adoption.
I don't understand why you did this in the first place - you really need to know a bit more about a person before you sleep with them.

Many women who have abortions regret it later, and sometimes can't have other children. If you are in a position to bring the baby up well, and teach good values, responsibility and discipline in a loving and supportive environment, there is absolutely no reason not to. Why not move and cut all ties, to avoid a possible bad influence in future, when he gets out. Prison often does bad things to people. If possible, don't even let him know you are pregnant by him.

What is his reason for not telling you is it because he lied or forgot to tell or you didn't ask. Maybe he isn't really telling you what he was arrested for.
Next time you have sex with someone you really should know more about the person.
As for it being uncomfortable well you better decide which part is uncomfortable. The fact he was in jail or that you didn't know enough about the guy before you got pregnant to him.

id have his baby if you were ready for that,but i wouldnt bank on him standing by you.if he couldnt be honest about prison then how do you not no he may already have a family nd looked on you as fun.but then again he could come out change his life totally around and be a perfect dad.only you can answer that question

Not really. But then, I am a man and if I found out I was pregnant to such a guy, I'd feel REALLY uncomfortable.
However, nature has a way and I' sure like most things I'd get used to it and who knows, might even enjoy it!

This is the kind of advice you're going to get here. Get a professional therapist if only for one session, please.
My concern is, what makes you interested in a guy like this? On what criteria do you choose your men? Don't you have any standards, or is and uneducated, filthy, loser with a penis and a pack of smokes Mr Right? Dont you have any standards?
I'm just guessing here, but have you saved for this childs medical care, college tuition, and have a good environment in which it will learn? and grow? Doubtful. Did you have genetic counseling and get tested to ensure that your genes and prince charmings genes contained no genes that would express as dominant to cause fetal death? Or a propensity for drug/alcohol abuse? Or mental illness to include retardation? Big NO i bet... Why do people like yourselves continue to breed when we certainly don't need more of you?

The question to ask is how deep is your relationship with this man. If you hardly know him, then I doubt very much that you will be happy having his child.

Nope, I would abort. That is an unfair beginning to a child's life. If I had it, I would be scared it would have gotton bad genes. It would be the nurture over nature debate for me. I'd rather have children with worthy men.
