I have a few questions about the firewall you may suggest.

1. Is it as good as ZoneAlarm?
2. Is it available at download.com? Id like to try it from a place I
trust.
3. Does it require that I uninstall any other antispyware / virus
software? If so then I wont be needing it. Unless it needs to
remove mcafee.
4. Im going to do a background check before I do anything,
maybe you can tell me if there are any user reviews from
experienced users?

For now none is fully compatible with Vista. Vista is using windows 2003 firewall which is better then the one available on Xp. Beta versions will be released soon for the most popular ones like Zone Alarm, Comodo... I can't say exactly when will this happen.

There's nothing wrong with the firewall included with Vista, you dont need anything else it will just consume memory needlessly.
