wiring a light?

i have 6 wires from the seiling 3 red 3 black and a earth but on the light there is a blue wire and a brown wire and a earth how do i wire the light up

3 red wires goto the blue.
3 black wires goto the brown.
earth to earth.

That way as you open a door or turn on the dome light with a switch it gets the electricity and passes that to the other lights.
