Bag the names - Jamie and James will be mistaken for two twin boys because Jamie is also a boys name. If you are writing that will confuse your readers because they will keep mistaking each name for the other.
I would pick an exotic name that readers can remember but, I would choose a names that will represent their character.

How would Jaimie and James give them individuality? You're basically telling them that they are the male and female version of each other by using the same name.
Do them a real favor and don't do the "twin thing". Give them each a name that is completely different from the other. Let them at least be apart in name if not anything else.

I like them, but readers will probably confuse them. If they're going to be, joined at the hip, finish each other's sentaces twins, then yeah, go for it!
