I've looked everywhere and cannot find any places that sell videos of old Popeye cartoons with Goon Island, I know there were not that many episodes of it, but still!....I want 'em! Ideas, anyone? Thanks!

I remember Popeye. The Jeep was the fourth dimensional pet that ate orchids and could teleport and see the future. Alice the Goon was the servant of the Sea Hag.
First, try looking on Toonopedia. They have thousands of toons listed, and I know they have Popeye. They may have links to some fan sites, and they also usually tell who put out videos, etc. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, this will be more expensive and take longer, but there is a series of Popeye newspaper strip reprints. I have some of them, in storage, and I can’t remember the publisher right now. If Toonopedia doesn’t have the info you want, leave your email and I’ll get back to you with the publisher’s name

Yeah, i remember Alice the goon, Wasnt that the thing with the big nose and always wore this green dress and was like huge. I dunno if you might be able to get those things on ebay as Ive never seen any Popeye merchandise on sale anywhere basically cause its fairly old now. Thanks for the memories though!

They sell plenty of old Popeye cartoons on Amazon ... just go to www.amazon.com, select "DVD", then type "Popeye" into the search window.
It'll also bring up the live-action movie with Robin Williams & Shelly Duvall; ignore that (bleah).

WB will start releasing the complete Popeye this year, starting from the beginning. In July or so...
