lol! have one radio controlled alarm clock which is a godsend! Hate doing the central heating clock! Then there are the blooming lights on timers, so you have to change the time, and then change the time the lights come on and off in relation to how the night is changing! Always manage to forget at least one clock, but at least that is right six months later! lol! Right, must go and start! Forward, forward, forward! lol! Still plus side is, lighter nights are coming, 1st day of spring was last week, so once this cold front has gone hopefully we can look forward to some nicer days!

I am more upset about having to get up an hour earlier for work this morning when I know that most of the population is at home in bed!!!
As for the clocks... I have decided not to change them.. Didnt change them last summer so am fine as it is.

Ok. Other than the Dvd recorder and your alarm clock why bother changing any of them?
You know the hour has moved forwards or backwards allow for it and don't change any of the others.

Yes I am, as I have a large collection of antique clocks and they are all in working order, it's very noisy here at twelve o'clock!
GRIN!
P.S. why can't they go to double British summertime, as they did for three years in the seventies, it was great, more sunshine hours in the evening in the winter, and light till eleven o'clock in the summer, also, no need to change the time when you go to Europe!

Lucky I have only one clock to change...
Would you rather have local mean time and having to change your clock a couple of minutes every time you travel a mile east or west?

No - it gives you a good reason to go round them all with a duster - and to put new batteries in the high ones which are difficult to get at - as you know batteries ALWAYS run out one week after a time change ! ! !

It's a totally unnecessary exercise in a 24/7 world.
The only one to update automatically is the one on the computer.
