I frequently work for 8 hours at a time at work and sometimes forget to eat. It is not good for you and you should take a short break every hour to be more effective.

No, it's not "natural". We weren't made for the purpose of sitting all day. My advice is to take small naps if you can. Otherwise, just get up and stretch/walk around when you have the time.
I've studied in the library for an entire day from morning to night. I took breaks to eat lunch and dinner. Then I would take tiny naps when I couldn't stand it anymore, or just sit my head on my desk to rest. I also brought food and water with me. That's how I studied for hours on. Oh yeah, sometimes I would move to a different desk too.

No. You have to get up and take a small walk of 5-10 min, every 2 hours. During rest do not watch TV. Close your eyes, take long breaths, bend back words with a soft pillow, below your neck region. Good luck, study well.
