Ferdinan, old boy this is a Cad question, you really don't need to think to answer it.Cad may know a little about etiquette as I often stay round at buck house! When I can not be bothered to drive back from my club.

It is not an etiquette question unless there are others waiting. The men in my family do this. I have some of my best ideas on the bog or in the bath.
It is more a health thing and it will lead to an increased chance of haemorrhoids, with time.

I always read on the toilet...i'm am a man though
Gotta realize one thing. When a man poops///// stuff rubs agaisnt his prostate. Men #2ing get "high" from that act.
In the end..its an aweosme moment.
But yeah i grab whatever to make the moment last...shampoo bottle......receipt......book.. I just stay there till i decide i have to move.

I look at a magazine sometimes but I don't really stay and read. My mom and my sister go and read in the bathroom for a real long time, 30-60 minutes, my butt would hurt too much to do that.

oh so funny-- my son and I both used the restroom at Shop-n-Save today. He's 7 and absolutely won't go into the women's restroom with me. He came out and said, " should I take the magazines in the bathroom home for daddy.I think he'll like them?" I responded, " What kind of magazines?". He gave me a weird look and said ,"trucks". I let him know those are poopy magazines and we wouldn't be bringing those home for dad.

One may indeed, enjoy a loo interlude with a bit of light reading, but courtesy and consideration must be a factor in your choice of reading matter---if one becomes too involved in the reading, others waiting may be deprived of comfort.

LOL. Sometimes I'll read a travel mag. Not into the whole book thing. I save my book reading for when I'm on the couch.

etiquette is only for bigger groups like if your at the Queens home your expected to act a certian way. like standing and not saying a word till she addresses you first.but if your alone it really should not matter.etiquette is french for a ticket to get in to some important group.
