When girls constantly "poke" me is that a form of flirting?

according to facebook, the poke is a random feature with no purpose or meaning....but i'll say that generally it's at least a quasi-flirtatious thing.....

if anyone figures it out please let me knoe cause I have a inbox full of them from my friends I thought it was just to see if I was paying attention to them...lol..I hope they arent all flirts!..lol
