I saw this Lacoste polo shirt for men on the lacoste store; It was this bright hot pink (not the average pastel pink color, but a brighter one). I liked it, but was unsure of buying it for the following reasons:
1.- My skintone is this light brown-olive color. My hair is dark brown, and my eyes are dark brown also. Does a hot pink shirt looks good with my skintone/hair color?
2.- Does it look too 'gay' to wear a bright hot pink shirt, instead of the classic pastle pink color?
So, should I or should I not buy it?

About 20 years ago (and still to kids) a pink shirt on a guy was gay. It said "I'm gay and I fight for the pink team, look at me, is anyone else gay like me cuz I'm looking, this is my big gay flag."
Today, a guy in a pink shirt actually says the opposite. It means I'm brave. It says "I'm so secure & confident in my heterosexuality, that it would take a lot more than this color to make somebody doubt my manliness, and I'm man enough to wear it, eventhough I know insecure men are afraid to because people might question them, but there's no way anyone could think I'm gay."
Now, once you start wearing women's underwear, that might raise some eyebrows.

Of course you can but make sure when and where you wear it is a proper occassion. Things like a brunch with your girl, a late dinner or drinks with friends in the city are cool. I don't think wearing it to the local pool hall or a sporting event is appropriate for something like this where the amount of testosterone will be at an all time high.
I included a picture. Kanye West isn't gay and I think he wears things like this very well. Good Luck!

Yes, You can wear a hot pink shirt and not look gay as look as you walk like a man and not a woman. If you don't wiggle like a woman and use the hands the way the gay men us theirs. A man can look great any any color as look as he is sure of him self. Besides who said hot pink is for women and gays. If you like it buy it.

It looks to gay. Take notce that everything in life that is pink is made for girls. Dont try to change this. We all watched the Power Rangers when we were little. The pink ranger was a girl for a reason.

Hot pink = Gay on a guy in my opinion, but I am not you or your friends...
But if you like it you could always say Who cares what other people think, if you like it buy it.

hell yeah, wear the pink!!! i luv 2 see pink on a guy, it`s sexy!!! a man can wear any color he chooses, not just the stereotypically "masculine" colors!!! pink is not a gay color & people who think pink is a gay color for a man probably have issues with their own sexuality & that`s their problem, not yours!!!

Well, personally, I think it may look "too gay." But, as long as its not too tight, and you like it, I say, why not?! Make a statement!
I know I'm being quite contradictory, but who was it, indeed, that assigned certain colors to being for a girl or a boy?
