Maybe he is afraid of your judgment. If he is obsessed with you that would mean he has you on a pedestal. By answering your questions he would become vulnerable, risking a negative judgment from you. That or he may just be crazy....

John probably stopped answering you directly because you are too bitter and angry. Also maybe Yahoo cut off his messages to you because of your anger and hostility. Maybe they said you don't play well with others and maybe he's bored with you. Who knows?
