The meatus of my penus (opening) is slightly red and eliivated from the glans. I had never even concidered this a problem and thought it to be normal untill i saw pictures which displayed it as being hardly visible at all, non risen and the same colour as the glans around it. Is there somthing wrong with me or is the problem just due to iritation of some kind?

It's pretty common for circumcised guys to have irritation on the end of the meatus as usually that part would not be exposed. It can lead to a narrowed urethra or meatal stenosis (where the end closes over with scar tissue) but if you're peeing and ejaculating fine, don't worry about it.

If it doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable in any way, it's probably normal. Everyone's penis looks somewhat different. If you're worried, keep an eye on it for a few days to see if it changes; if it doesn't, it's probably nothing.
