I stack 3 or 4 tires, then line it with gardening plastic. Then I fill with topsoil and put 3 plants in each stack. In the fall, I just remove the tires and my sweet potatoes fall out onto the ground.

they will grow from the potato tubers that you buy. The plant trails along and is almost vine like. It is very easy to grow from cuttings from the vegetative parts as well

Just the same way you grow normal potatoes, but add lots of glucose syrup to the soil...

Stick them in the ground like like normal potatoes.
However, the shoots from them are not stalky but they trail.
The younger shoots can be pinched and gathered and use as fresh vegetable much the same as spinach.
