You can use it any where, the problem you might have in Germany is that the voltage is 230 volt as in USA it is 110 volts so check that your charger is a Double voltage or you will need a new charger when you get to Germany ( you will find one easy enough , electronic shops e-bay etc.) another thing that may give you trouble is that your digital camera will be NTSL norms in the USA and not BG as in Germany so you will not be able to do play back on your TV screen, the photos are JPEG so they are the same, and you will need a charger to use on 230 volts as for your i-Pod, as for computer down loads they are all the same and so are the USB ports

US video output as you will be aware is NTSC. Just set the output of the camera (and iPod if its a Video) to PAL. In Europe we use a plug called a scart, if you buy a DIN to Scart adaptor (available in any electrical outlet in Europe) it will accept a PAL Video input. If your camera charges by USB, then just buy an International charger for iPod and you can charge them both. (You can buy one in the States and bring it over with you).
Otherwise everything else is the same except for your PC Keyboard. A UK English keyboard has a different layout to the US English Keyboard. The German Keyboard has the same layout as a UK English Keyboard, but with a special character set for the German Alphabet.
USB and every other ports has the same configuration as any other worldwide. I spent christmas in Germany and ended up sorting out my friends computer problems (PC and Laptop.) in German. It was fun, as I knew what all the menu's where, but I could not read a thing (I don't speak German!)
I had no problems hacking her system problems even so!

You can use them anywhere
you can't "fry it" very easily as they make everything for a "global market" so the adapter will convert any voltage, you just need a plug that fits (I just bought a camera in England, for use in Canada) The keyboards over there will drive you crazy at first.

i think of that "Tiffany M." and "Myself" the two had astounding solutions! As "Myself" suggested, first technology products like the ITouch run out truthfully. and because you have already got an ipod, there is little need of having yet another one, because you will ought to flow each and every of the songs. additionally, the cyber-shot has been around for a jointly as and my older sister, Bethany, has it. it works rather nicely! It has all of those rather cool helpful aspects like blurring and colour tinting! it is astonishing! i became messing around with my sister's digicam sooner or later and that i placed it on zoom on my fingernail, and that i got here across a tiny little speck of nail polish! The zoom is that sturdy! it is astonishing! From that day on, I continually used the zoom to envision my fingernails for specks of polish! LOL! merely kidding, i do no longer continually use the zoom for that objective, yet I did rather discover a speck with zoom. The digicam is likewise rather cool in case you're at concert activities, because of the fact in case you're interior the back row, you are able to zoom and get a image of the performer. and that i'm no longer attempting to be impolite, inspite of the undeniable fact that it rather is recommended to return your different digicam (that to procure 4 months in the past) because of the fact whilst Bethany have been given the digicam, she used up a ton of babysitting funds (like one million/2 a 300 and sixty 5 days!) yet once you do no longer choose to, this is effective too. inspite of the undeniable fact that it would shop you quite some funds. i'm hoping I helped and sturdy success choosing! this is a especially confusing desicion! Merry Christmas! super question! I gave you a famous guy or woman! :) ? xoxo Anne

USB ports are universal. Voltage to run computer parts inside the computer is the same. It is the power supply to the wall connection that is different. That is why power supplies on computers have a switch for different voltage. 110/220v
