i have found that in pictures, there is a sufficient amount of space in between where the glands end and the the frenulum starts. However, on my own penis, the frenulum is quite close to the meatus, close enough that it is almost attatched to it. is this normal, and in pictures, is it that long only less visible because it stretches further?

Everyone's slug is different. If it fires ammo it is normal. Just remember though women shake their head about how much we talk about the size and shape of our tallywhacker, they are will always have stories about "some ex-boyfriend" who was 'hung like a horse'. "Oh man he was so big" "It was this long!" etc. etc.

Yes, it's normal. The frenulum can "attach" at various points, from the end of the meatus to somewhere further down at the bottom of the glans. As long as it can stretch enough for you to pull the skin back without pain or discomfort, it's fine.

It's normal for the frenulum to be very close to the tip.
