Pencils, pens, a pair of kid's scissors (and mine is out of college now), change, a motrin, paper clips--quite a bit, actually. If I go down farther than that, a cat.

Omg, everything from 6 month old twisties, bottle caps, chocolate bar wrappers, lighters, hairclips etc. Its a mess under there.
