the last two presidents have been draft dodgers. clinton went to canada and bush had daddy sign papers to get out of going to veitnam. both of wich have not seemed to do much good for the country. I'm not a kerry fan at all but he actually went to war. so his opinion means more than both of these two combined. but he chucked his metals. that to me is an insult also to this nation(my oppinion not the point) what is left for this country. my as a youth saw an adultery leader. and now as a young adult were in a "war" against terrorism. ideas fuel terrorism and ideas can not be beaten. neither president will truely be held acountable so what is left

what makes you think i haven't voted. statements can be quite offensive, i didn't say he meant it as one either, but if you awarded someone with something you thought was priceless and they threw it away how'd you feel

We must elect people into positions of power within the United States that will FIRST AND FOREMOST Uphold the Constitution of the United States.
The Constitution being ignored is the biggest problem that this country has faced from the inception of this country until now.
If we just get people to :
1. Study
2. Follow
3. elect those who do the same, regardless of party ...
Than we won't have any problems anymore as far as government corruption, and restrictions of Liberties.
What can you do now?
1. Study the Constitution
2. Follow the Constitution
3. Elect those in government, who, regardless of party affiliation, will OBEY the Constitution WORD FOR WORD!

O yes, your right ideas cant be beaten, like the soviet union and their spreading of communism, that wasnt beaten. The only right candidate for 08 is McCain. He is a war veteran, a former POW. He served his country and hes the only person with the credentials to lead us through this war.
Your question is not so much a question but a statement to try and incite an arguement based on your far left biased remarks.
This "WAR" on terrorism is a war, there has been 0 attacks on this country since the war started, i can name 5 attacks on the US while clinton was in office. This WAR is being won, The war in iraq is coming around due to the surge, and the coming war in Iran will be won also.
Love It or Leave It.

With a population over 300 million and the downright dominance of the television (ie, most of the things you learned about the last two presidents was from TV), the only people who make it in politics are wealthy, powerful, and able to raise money to buy ad time.
This breeds a very standard candidate, which is why the R or D after their name really doesn't matter.
Sorry to sound cynical, but you will not see a person of true substance make it to the general election. Interesting things have happened during primaries, but the final outcome is dictated by the streams of money.
As presidency goes, the special interests own the office, we have not had a true leader in a while, I don't see one in the current crop.

It's time for Americans to join the Election Process our Forefathers Fought so Hard to Establish. The old adage"Use it or Lose it." If we do not get involved in who is in our Highest Office, representing us internationally and at home, we have only ourselves to blame when things go badly. If you don't like what's going on, run for office. Do something.
I am so tired of talk. I wish I could be President! I'd get this country turned around.

As citizens we must become informed and vote. If not they will continue on this path of exploitation and plunder, for the elite believe about us that "If God did not want them sheared, He would not have made them sheep."
