dr took me off norvasc to see if that would help but no it hasn't was bottomed out on sodium level and got in order now but had the swelling and red for over a year is making it hard to walk on left foot what should they be doing??? did many tests and all was ok except inflamtion levels over x2 what it should be the red in the face is nose and cheeks and red feet and ankles ty

if you mean a butterfly rash...it sounds like lupus. You would probably need to see a rheumatologist. It's an autoimmune disorder and has several different variations that affect everyone differently. It is most known for the 'butterfly rash' across the face.

By butterfly effect, do you mean a butterfly rash on your face? If this is what you mean, have you been tested for Lupus?

I believe you need to see a rheumotologist. Ask your doctor for a referral. Good luck to you.

Have you seen a rheumatoid arthritis doctor?
If not, I would suggest it.
