This seems to be a very nasty bus driver. She says alot of mean things about disabled people.

She says, "What gets me is half of them are making it up anyway. They don't really have anything wrong with them.

Things like, "Why should my taxes pay for them?"

This one really kills me. She says, "You should see what this so called disabled person did the other day just to make me feel sorry for her!"

I wonder if it ever occurs to her that they, the disabled people, along with many or most of the other people in this world don't really care about her personal opinions or feelings toward them.

The disabled people simply have a right not to be harassed by her. I see that as very different than wanting her pity, or anything else from her.

And she does follow all this up with further harrassment! By making the bus go slower, or a bit faster when they are trying to walk through. Letting it slide as they are getting off. What can they do?

I just can't believe she is mixed up enough to actually believe her taxes are paying for each of those people to live.

The bus was set up as a county bus to help the disabled and elderly.

So one way or another, they are paying her salary! She would not have her job without them. I can't see why that is not obvious to her.

You need to note her name, description, badge or driver number, bus number, whatever is available. Write out a few of the situations you've described here, noting times and dates. (You might also want to give the names and contact information of any witnesses who are willing to back you up on this.) Make sure that you keep a copy of the information, and send a copy to the company that runs the bus line. You might also consider sending a copy to the Better Business Bureau and some of the organizations that advocate for the disabled. You could even contact the Highway Patrol or Department of Motor Vehicles, since what you mention in your last paragraph could endanger the patrons.

It sounds like she's not doing her job properly. You should report it to the company. Disabled people have a right to go on the bus.

ahhh That's sad. Can you get and video of her doing that. She can be fired and sued for abusing the disabled and the elderly!

Sometimes you can turn it in on secret wittness. You are a good person. Do it!

Well, if you can prove she is doing this, beyond a reasonable doubt, then you can do something. Most likely you cant though.

People like this make me sick. However it is the people that take advantage of disability that make people like this bus driver bitter. Remember, you dont have to listen, make your voice known!

You can tell your Mother, and have her call the bus garage and explain to the manager or whoever what is happening, requesting they further contact the bus driver and investigate, police could get involved, but if you want to; tell your Mom not to mention your name so it doesn't get turned around, and to remain anyonymous when questioning the bus driver, she could get in serious trouble.
