Descartes came up with the theory of "Existence", which is based on doubt:
1. Doubt everything away!Doubt that we exist, doubt that god exists, and doubt that everything exists.
2. You are doubting everything except one thing. Even if you doubt doubt, you are still doubting. For there is one thing that you cannot doubt, that is the process of doubting.( kind of confusing, but true.)
(By the way Descartes used thinking to prove existence when he said,"I think, therefore I am")
3.Since we think our minds exist.
4.Our mind thinks of a perfect God, how could the idea of a perfect God come to our imperfect minds?
This could only happen if a perfect God put it in our minds.
5.Since God is perfect, he doesn't cheat us.He has created the world. The world exists and we exist as well.
In brief:
Nothing exists=>Doubt=>thinking=>mind
=>God=>world=>us.
(Note that this is what Descartes argued)
Saying that "Nothing exists", is wrong since there is the existence of "Nothing" i.e emptiness(which means that there is something)
Hope this helped you even though its very confusing..
Good luck!

No it does not mean that there is no reality.
It just means that true reality is slightly different from the way we are choosing to see it.
True reality still exists all of the while we are pretending to exist in this physical reality that we are currently imagining.
It helps to think of this as a sort of secondary reality that we are currently experiencing, while our primary reality awaits our return, or our awakening. Depending on which ever idea is the most comfortable to you.
Your reaction is understandable. It freaks a lot of people out when they finally realize what is actually going on here. What you need to remember is this knowledge changes nothing.

I do not think that I am mindful, it's self-obtrusive. This detail of the cogito is untouched, in that if there's a proposal - of doubt, or some thing - then there's cognizance via definition. There may also be no experience hooked up to an "subconscious proposal" besides as a conceptual mechanism to provide an explanation for later reviews or behaviour, as in Freud's theories. Given that, the relaxation does now not fairly topic. Providing the sector manifests a measure of regularity, that's all we ought to label it an item. Is all of it imaginary? It hurts adequate, does not it! If you narrow via your foot with an awl, how a lot more truly might you desire it? Objectivity is simply our enjoy with the emotions artificially abstracted.

Don't we all answer our own questions of reality everyday?
Each of us has a distinct and separate reality from each other. Even when we intersperse our lives with others or even just moments with others, we are sharing "a reality" even if how we perceive that moment is alternate to how the other person perceived that moment.
For example, if you and I both stood in line together at Starbucks and waited to order coffee, would we both have the same thoughts, feelings and awareness of where we are and what we are doing? Not exactly, but would we be sharing a moment of "simultaneous reality".
I would be thinking, feeling and aware of things that you might not know, sense or notice. But our shared simultaneuos reality is that we are both standing in line for coffee. And we can confirm with each other that we indeed are standing in line together and waiting to order coffee and are able to acknowledge that each other is currently part of our individual reality.
It's what perceived through our senses by each individual that makes it that individuals reality.
I hope this is helpful.

It means that it's not possible know if if there is a reality or not. Perhaps nothing exists. Perhaps your question doesn't really exist and this answer doesn't really exist either.
If there is or isn't a reality, it really doesn't effect anything. You should still go about life like there is a reality because if there is, than your actions might matter. If there isn't a reality than your actions don't matter, but you can't tell the difference.

One way of seeing it is like that , its not realy there !,
because being and non being are the two sides of the same thing.
Remember duality ! inside this time domain !
the totality of the reality is that which involves the things outside the time domain !
