Even if it can you don't want it. Those memories and emmotions are a lesson, in time they will be pleasant memories of the distant past. But they will still form the basis on which you can move on to form a much better relationship with the next person you love. The mistakes that were made first time needent be made again, lessons you learnt about yourself mean that you can get even closer to the next person.
If you had those memories wiped what is there to prevent the next relationship failing at the same hurdles as the first?

This is wide open to suggestion people say that hypnosis ''works'' but personally I think it's all down th the person's self suggestion if you deeply want to forget about her you can, you have to analyse this problem deep to allow it to open more to your mind. I had the same problem my ex broke up with me and I found it difficult to get into another relationship until I questioned myself, may sound strange but when you sit there and go into everything in more detail you will find it will get easier and that eventually the emotions will get weaker and go away. Overall I suggest giving hypnosis a try if you believe in yourself and you have an open mind

Putting your mind on other things and people will give the energy you've attached to 'her" a place to go. As it attaches to other things and people it will withdraw from the love of your past. Hypnosis might make the transition easier.

Hypnosis can do it, as also NLP! One can do it oneself, through 'auto-suggestion'!

Maybe, but I don't think that would be healthy. Time's a healer, try to carry on and have faith.
