He says that he's gonna do soemthing for me,but never does it.When I say"don't worry about it",he just says."it's o.k.,I'll get it for you. When I tried to e-mail him,to tell him about it,he says that he never got the e-mail.when I tell him to give me a call ,he never does.I just want to be freinds with him, without him having to have to give me anything.I know that the reason why he wants to give me things that I want,is because he wants to help me.Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

It sounds like he doesn't want to give you anything, & he doesn't sound like a very good friend at all. He's always lying to you. How does that make for a good friend? The last friend I had like that ended up costing me over $1100.00 don't make the same mistake I did , you can't trust him. Drop him like a hot potato. He's nothing but trouble.

it sounds like he is one of those people who are always making 'promises' but never any intent of keeping them

after a while (as you no doubt are aware) it becomes irritating and annoying because it would take less trouble for him to DO what he says he will than to keep PROMISING he will do stuff and then not do it

and i doubt he will ever change

so rather than make a big thing of it - just slowly edge him out of your life - he hasn't shown by his ACTIONS that he is a friend but he has shown by his WORDS that he understands - so someone who knows what to do and doesn't do it is far worse than someone who just doesn't realize

edge him out and make room for other people who are more deserving of your loyalty

He wants to be your friend bad enough to do something for you, but he's not really making a commitment. Next time he makes a promise, just tell him you have a better idea, you just want to hang out.

He is not helping you at all. Infact he is distressing you. Do you really want his friendship?? Think twice. If I were you, I want him out..

Based on all you've said about this guy...
with whom you say you want to be friends
with... all I can think of is the following one
word question.
(The envelope, please?)
"Why?"
