Halter neck is with one strapwhich fits around the neck
Ordinary one have two and they go around the shoulders
String bikis are with string like straps and without support

They all look different-if you go into a shop and ask for a halter neck one you will see! Halter necks tie up at the neck and the back rather than having straps going down to the back...
a string one i guess is where the straps are just thin strings rather than straps, unless you mean like it is made of the string material!

a string bikini would be just thin straps where a halter would be thicker (more support) straps. It would cover more..

the support they give and the amount of covarage are different
