I have Frank Thomas and I need a good pitcher. Who do you think I can get for him? I dont have any GREAT pitchers and I am going to start Carlos Delgado in the Util position. Also, is there anyone else who is worth getting for Thomas??

Thomas will get you guys like E. Santana, Pettitte and Lowe. If I were you, I'd use Thomas at UT and trade Delgado for someone like Dice-K, Smoltz or Lackey. I mean, if you want a serious upgrade at pitching.

Thomas is aging and eligible only at Util, so don't expect to get a big name for him. I'd look for lesser names who should produce as well or better than the bigger names. Scott Olsen and Dave Bush are two very good pitchers who you could reasonably expect to get for Thomas. A few others I like but not quite as well include John Patterson, Kelvim Escobar and Ian Snell. As for closers, someone like Valverde, Wickman or Borowski are the sort you should expect to get for Thomas.

THOMAS WILL GET HURT...BIG HURT.. AND SPEND MOST OF YEAR ON DISABLE LIST MORE THAN LIKELY.
