Like walking through a rough area, hand on your gun inside your jacket when some rough characters approach you from behind?

Or hearing a strange noise at your door in the middle of the night, you grab your firearm ready for action?

umm...no...i know i have my gun there IN CASE i need it, but i don't sit there and think 'gee i hope i don't kill anyone today'.

No, but I would if ever I was in a situation like someone breaking into my home in the middle of the night I will defend myself I would wait until they were inside the door I tend not to go into the bad areas of town, I do not leave my home after dark, I take care of my business on one set day of the week during the day since I am a senior citizen We have had problems with persons following the elderly from stores and robbing them

I'm the type of person who thinks someone is following me and walks across the street or looks for a public place (gas station) or house with lights on in case I need to run for help
(and I've had to do that before)

I don't dwell on it. I know for a fact that I would kill to protect my family but any thing else is not worth taking a life.
