Absolutely, leave him alone and just let him play. he puts up great stats and still its not good enough for some. sure he can do better in the clutch but he is`nt the only one.
go yanks in `07

Yes, I am sick of all the negativity toward A-Rod. Every story you read about the Yankees seems to be something ridiculing A-Rod. The media seems to be using him as a punching bag because they have nothing better to do. He had a very good year, and he could get everyone off his back, but just relaxing and being is awesome self. He could also quit being so polished when he talks. He needs to come out and talk trash or let his real feeling show, instead of trying not to offend everyone. Everyone seems to take pleasure in slamming him, so A-Rod needs to return the favor.
I think that if fans stopped the negativity, he would produce the way he used to also.

im tired of all the hatrid show! he is 1 of the bst players in the game. he was the youngest player to hit 400 homeruns! people were saing he was having an 'off year' last year, but he still hit 35 homers and had over 100 RBI's. if thats an 'off year' i cant wait to see a year when he's on top. he will have over 50 homers and RBI's. all he has to do is become clutch in the playoffs, and people will respect him. i think if he plays better this year, the yanks will have a shot at #27.

The Yankees would without a doubt move him if they could get the right deal. That being said-if it were to occur would be his 4th team in less then 7 years---there is definitely be a reason why this guy gets shipped around. He is not the prototypical team player that winning organizations want on there team. It's easy to see that his demeanor and interviews are showing a fake ,media friendly persona he wants to portray. I can think of alot of guys in baseball I want on my team over Alex Rodriguez---besides he CLEARLY cannot handle hitting in pressure situations.

Um caps lock???
Anyway, I never liked him since he was on Seattle and Texas, so...he's just not suited for pinstripes, end of story. And his playoff contributions, well are non-existent. That is why everyone will cheer Bernie and Posada batting .270 and jeer Mr. Wonderful on 3rd. Honestly, I can't pick him over Wright, who is a true Met. I respect players when they know where they belong, and A-Rod simply isn't made for here.

I'm a Mets fan. I love how all you Yankee morons boo your own players. You Yankees fans are all a bunch of whining, arrogant morons. I remember when Jeter was in a slump, you Yankees fans even booed him for a game or two. Pathetic.

GayRod get what he gets. He is a great ballplayer but doesn't come through in the clutch. Fans are entitled to their opinion just as you are. So cheer for him if you want Boo at him if you want. All fan have the right to cheer or boo as they see it. I do not question that we are the land of the free and free speach is a part of it. If he were to start coming through at key situations on a routine basis, the fans will cheer.

I think every one should stop criticizeing A-Rod just because he did not have an MVP season. He is still one of the best players in the MLB today.

BIG NAME... small market playah...
You shouldn't be so upset... plenty of history of players like that in pinstripes. Alot of players wear the pinstripes during the season. The legends (BIG MARKET PLAYERS) wear them in October. Look at A-Rod's Seattle playoff stats... No difference. That is what the hate is about.
Big markets have big expectations.
