cardiff for a day on the lash?

its our sons birthday next sat and theres about 25 off to cardiff for the day.we are meeting in the spoons(newport) at 2pm then get train about 3.where can we all go,the age group will be mixed(22 to 50).done the bay,done the yard&old brewery.whats caroline st (chip alley)like.any good boozers .we can try.any info please thanks. ps is the last train back still 10 30?

Chippy lane has the brewery quarter next to it with a few bars and restaurants.
