For sure, hairy !!! Nothing like a gorilla or hair on the back, of course, but a nice thin coating on the chest is so virile and sexy !!!
Bare-chested men always make me think of young boys who haven't quite reached puberty yet -- which I know is a silly assessment -- but, I simply prefer hair on the chest.

My husband is 1/2 Apache, so he hardly has any chest hair at all! (there's some, but not a lot) I think it's sexy, but only bc it's natural. If he shaved his chest it would be a lot less apealing bc that's very un-manly. (is that a word?)
