Actually most people do NOT have a symmetric face. One eye is often a little higher, for example, or the nose is crooked, etc.

Next time you see Shannen Doherty on TV, check her eyes. For a "movie star" hers are way out of alignment. (one is higher than the other...)

(I've read of studies that show that we subconsciously prefer people whose face is more symmetrical.)

We have basic symmetry, but it differs from person to person. However beautiful and good looking people have exact symmetry between both sides of their faces. Inshort their sides are equidistant from the noses.

Plastic surgeons look at these data points when they consult with their client to make sure that both sides are matched.

The answer is no. If you take a look at your face or any where else on the human body you will notice that there is little asymmetry.
