Why would someone need to wear a bikini top when not doing something involving the beach/pool/swimming?
It's not a classy form of every day wear.
Wearing a bikini top is not neccesary in every day life.

ever watch" what not to wear"? The show often has to correct women from the tendency to want to show more flesh. You appear less mature and put yourself at risk when at a young age to wear sleezy clothing in inappropriate settings. Even bikinis on the beach for a 13 yr old can be less than the best choice, cute one- peices or "tankinis"also short versions of wetsuits that block harmful sun rays say Im cute and pretty w/o saying "Im trashy".

No woman should wear a bikini as a top unless they are indeed at the beach, swimming, or inovolved in a water related activity. I think it's called self respect, and I agree that it is trashy.

Wearing a bikini top alone would be odd...
You can team it up with a white(somewhat see-thru) front open shirt, leave the top 2-3 buttons loose, and wear some beaded necklace...

I am not sure it is ok for a 13 year old to even have a bikini let alone where one someplace. I don't know your situation but my daughter won't be getting one till she is 16 at least.

If you live in a trailer park or Kentucky you could probably wear it on a hot day around the neighborhood. Other than it just looks trashy.

there are a lot of places that fall under appropriate-as long as you feel confident and safe,it is fine,usually not when there are a lot of older men around-they tend to make comments about young ladies.
