This is really ridiculous that some one still want Dravid as Captain after this shameful deafeat in the world cup. If Dravid continues as captain, with in few days teams like Barmuda, Canada will easily defeat us.
Dravid is the "worst" captain India has ever experienced. He destroyed the unity of well knitted "Team India'. Bcci should immediately sack Dravid.

It is a news to me that Rahul Dravid is being sacked from the captaincy. According to me he will remain as captain and some other senior players will get sacked.

Rahul may have scored reasonably as a batsman compared to others. But I am not convinced he has the respect of all the members of his team. When it comes to strategy and ability to motivate I am not sure he has done as well. There may be disruptive elements in the team working against him. If this is true, I would think it is the legendary Indian Crab attitude. Many people don't deserve a soft gentleman as their leader.

Dravid as a Caption did his job. At last he was disappointed and thrown his wicket as there was no partner. It is madness to demand his change. But at the end the captain or the commander gets the bad name. So it is in all good for Dravid himself to offer out.

the captain is responsible for the good will ,fine and smooth working of the team
if the captain shows will n zeal enough he can persuade the others to work well too
dravid just seems to be a stupid,puffed up idiot who cant take the charge....
instead i wish there was some other clever and zealous person as the captain who can show some fiery spirit and the killer instinct
our players play only for money n not for our country or their wish for the game

Captain must take the full responsibility for both winning and losing matches...Rahul himself accepted this...he knew he is not taking the team to the path of victory so it is correct to sack him from the captaincy...

but mate
the problem has not been his performance
but the important and crucial points of the game where he fails to take good decisions
like against SL in the midle overs he didn't attack and this prevented them from restricting them to <200
As a player he is completely selfless and presently the best along with Yuvraj
but on the other hand he has been a good skipper,but just not the one who can win you imp games
and i m sure he can do better but b'cause of the reaction from the fans he'll be stripped down

duty-a captain can only retain his place if he makes the team win-we didn't win in westindies, champions thropy , south africa and world cup 2007 was a disaster-so while he can still have some chance as a batsmen -HE SHOULD BE SACKED AS A CAPTAIN.
