Opening a store at my house?

Im wanting to open and Avon store in my home, ive already got the ok from Avon and just need to know what to do next and what how I should set things up, I am an Independent Sales Rep and a licensed beauty consultant. What are some good ideas to get costumers and what is a good idea to set up my products. Also should I buy a little at a time to stock my store?

Some places you might need to check the code for this. Where I live, you can do a business from home unless you put up a business sign outside. If you want a sign up outside, you have to be in an area that isn't zoned strictly residential.

Keep good records in case the IRS decides to audit you.

Don't invest in stock that you couldn't use if it doesn't sell and you can't return it. Starting small and building up isn't as painful as starting big and having to downsize.

At my old house I had to move from which was 7 months ago I lived a few houses down from a donut and a ice cream place I didn't really go to it. If one ended up where I live right now next door I would probably go I would be really happy if they were open 24/7 because I'm up all night and I crave sweets lol.

Get approval from your local council for operating a business from residential area. Second step to get liability insurance. Third step will be to find out if you are running business from home and you decide to sell your house later you might attract a capital gain tax so calculate, whats your benefits are you going to get from operating this business from your home.
Another question too are you in India or in Australia? if in India then should not matter but if you in Australia then those above rules need to be checked out. Spartan

test the waters and find the most wanted hot money makers by demand. Only stock what is moving out fast. You can also add some other type of products such as passion partys.
