yes because you really dont have to play kiddie games there is also adult games for ds lites that are fun for adults

Sure it's worth getting.
It depends on what kind of games you like. If you like puzzle games, get the DS. If you like 2D scrollers, get the DS. If you like RPGs, get the DS. If you like RTSs, get the DS.
The DS doesn't just have "kids games" (whatever that means). A lot of adults play the DS for things like brain training, sudoku, and RPGs.
Whatever you do, just don't get the PSP. That thing is a total waste of money. Only 12-15 year olds buy that piece of garbage. The DS is cheaper, more durable, has a brighter screen, has touch screen, and has a longer battery life than the PSP.

Just think about all the game you might buy if you have a DS and then you will be able to ask yourself if its worth getting or not.

PSP is the better bet, i have a DS because i like the sims and word games etc. If you like first person shooters etc. you dont need a DS.

No. not at all. Get the psp. It has more features and is more grown up The DS is for people under 14.

if you DONT like the kids games like the animal crossing and the sims and the ones with no action just running around talking and doing then get a PSP. it is more of a first person shooter handheld and racing type

It's really all about what kind of games you like man. If you don't really like kid games then I'm not sur eyou'd like it but people consider zelda a kids game but i think it striaght up kills. I guess it depends on what you call a kid's games. haha hope this helped
