Obviously, what goes on in fur farms is disgusting terrible torrture. From what I have seen, they should be criminally charged with animal cruelty.
However, the traditional hunters and some remaining Indians still wear furs and hides. It is considered an insult and wasteful to not use all parts of an animal, and using the animal's fur is a way of honoring them. How do you feel? Serious thoughts and opinions are welcomed!

add on- I believe it being done for fashion or status symbol is not ok. This includes all animals, not just specific ones. Endangered animals should be protected completely.

I think it is great that traditional hunters and some Indians don't let the animal parts go to waste unlike the farms that skin them and throw the bodies aside.

So what? If it's prohibited by your religion (like Hinduism doesn't allow cow-slaughtering) then don't do it.
But if it's about PETA liberal bullcrap, then screw them. The most natural thing to do in the animal kingdom is to KILL animals. Do they think they're above nature to protest to that? Funny how people who bawl about saving fur are the same people who'd kill a cockroach in an instant. Those half-assed protesters should go live in the woods. Aren't cities supposedly "destroying natural habitats"? This just goes to show they're trying to wash their hand clean of something they have also contributed to.

I think that if you're cold, wear a coat. I think if you're wearing fur as a fashion statement, then your an animal torturer. If you believe it to be an absolute necessity or its out of some respect, then that's OK and understandable.

i personally think it's kinda nasty
but I find fake furs appealing.
animals should be given a decleration of animal rights
and universal health care.

It doesn't bother me at all, we slaughter animals to eat, why not slaughter them for fur. If it is so wrong, throw away all your leather purses, belts and shoes too. Or are you one of those that just wants to save the cute ones?
