How did Hitler and his actions help cause World War One. What were they and how did they cause it.

Hitler did not cause WW1, although he took part as a junior soldier. If you really mean WW2, then the answer above is very good.

The major motivators behind WWII included an economic depression throughout much of Europe (especially Germany because of the Treaty of Versailles) which caused extreme German nationalism. The Treaty of Versailles placed the blame for WWI on Germany and required that it return land and pay extreme reparations in order to make up for it's actions. This atmosphere created ideal conditions for a leader like Hitler to cause sweeping change in German government. Hitler capitalized on German hypernationalism in order to advance his own agenda which ultimately led to world war II.

The official start of WWII was the german attack on Poland. In a secret pact between Russia and Germany, called the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, Germany agreed to take Poland and divide it among itself and the Soviets. The German declaration of war against Poland was the official start of the war.
