Since finding this service the other week, I have spent hours almost addicted to this and several jobs have gone undone here (supposed to be redecorating right now). The profits of B&Q therefore have dropped slightly as an immediate consequence of my finding this service but at the same time, I might have met my demise on the trip to the store.

the consequences for everyone are different in the long run, some are the same. More points to ask questions, more status in the Q&A as a Top Contributor, moving up levels, etc. But while everyone's answering the question, what you should realize or contemplate is what are the consequences of asking that question. If you get a thousand answers and decide only to read a few then you have wasted a lot of peoples time, and in some regard disrespected them. If you read them all then you may find an acceptable answer, but you still have wasted all that time on reading opinions. No one else's opinion really will answer this question better than your own, and I'm aware that includes my own as well. Such irony.

I've been addicted to this since last September. Luckily I only have the internet at work. So my time here is limited. If I had it at home it would be dangerous! So I've been fortunate enough to get some redecorating done! I actually just painted my mainfloor bathroom a beautiful teal colour (BEHR paint "Bayside") & am planning to do my upstairs bathroom in taupe "Sandy Cove," kitchen in light grey "Manhattan Mist," office in lilac "Silverberry" & guest room in medium grey "Porpoise."

I hate my job but yahoo answers makes it bearable! Being able to voice my opinions & feelings to strangers & occasionally getting positive feedback from them is very rewarding!

You will need more discipline my friend! I just won't get the internet at home & I'll be safe! Otherwise I might just stay in my pj's all day in front of the computer neglecting laundry, cleaning, not to mention playing guitar, writing songs & painting (canvases as well as walls!)

Peace out!

Don't feel too bad about your addiction. It could be worse. Hey, it's not heroin!

There will be no consequence for me as I am sitting up in bed playing with my new laptop, therefore I will only have lost a few moments of my own time on a sunday morning and anyway its too cold to get out of bed

The consequence could be i spent my time to somebody by giving him something that can talk about. But of course a minute of my lifetime has been shared to somebody knowing i help in my own little way to resolve his one of the many question in his life.

well my consequence is that i am taking a chance to get 10 points or not. unless you pick me as best answer. then the only good thing out of it is my 2 points. but i would prefer the 10 points.
