Depends how important it is or what the purpose of the call is. If its important, I'll call them. If its not, I usually wait a few extra days then call them. Calls for friendly chats or irrelevant stuff don't concern me too much if they don't call back as I know people have busy lives that they can't always control, but I don't like it if someone says they will call back with important info and they don't.

If we had plans I blow their phone up until I get a response, but If it's not important I just wait for them to call. I'm terrible about doing that...

I don't think it's necessary to DO anything. You don't know what they are currently involved in, so I assume that, for some reason, they just couldn't. So if it's really all THAT important to you, just call them back.

i call them...and usually they're like "hey, sorry i was gonna call you but i forgot or i was busy or something".

for get them, i take off my cell phone or if i am at the house i unplug my house phone.
