Yea, cliques make you feel like you have to be somebody you're not. You know? You're so busy trying to be like everyone else, that you lose track of who you really are, and you end up doing something stupid to 'fit in', and getting yourself into a lot of trouble.

I am in a clique. I mean of course I am. I'm in middle school But depending on what a person's defenition of a clique is, it seems to me that anyone who has a main circle of friends that they see often has a clique. I do think that they can either make you or break you when it comes to your rep because people judge you by who you hang with, their popularity status. I used to hang with a middle kinda crowd, not at the bottom but not at the top, but now I'm at the top. I'm like A-list royalty and it feels like so weird because just 2 years ago I was a nobody and now I am like invited to all the parties, and have like the top boys wanting me. It's crazy what can happen just by the people you hang with.

Cliques never bothered me. In life there are always friends that are closer. Myself when I was in school I guess I was considered in a clique BUT, I was friendly with EVERYONE.
