It would depend on the field. Most employers know what schools they want their employees from. For example, an engineer who graduated from Stanford or MIT is going to be offered a job long before someone from a university not known for their engineering department.

The US has enough problems with illegal immigrants taking our jobs we dont need educated ones doing the same.
