Do you regard 'a linear number application' and 'computation' are two faces of a coin / Mathematics?

As I understand, Vedic Mathematics is a 'logical number application' Computation is modern alternative to it. Understanding difference of these greatly helps general public!

vedic mathematics are a collection of tricks to speed up some calculations for humans.

computation is any process where 'objects' are involved.

Computation is not always associated with logic. A lot of computation in fact works in ways that would seem totally illogical like quantum computing.
